2 Years of Appy Hours: Unveiling the New Apptentive Office
Back in February, we hosted our February Appy Hour meetup event in coordination with our friends at Alaska Airlines – the airline known for embracing innovative technology to improve the customer experience.
This was our first event at our new downtown Seattle office and set a new attendance record with an incredible 200 mobile developers and professionals in the audience. We were delighted to welcome a number of our Seattle-based customers into our office, as well as a number of developers who volunteered to demo their latest projects.
We were also joined by Alaska Airlines’ new Chief Information Officer, Veresh Sita, who joined Apptentive’s Robi Ganguly for a ‘fireside chat’ conversation on the roles of mobile and data in creating a customer-centric environment. Sita shared with the Appy Hour crowd a few tips from his experience at Alaska Airlines on establishing a measurable, data-driven approach to the customer experience.
In case you missed it, here’s the video recording:
Thanks again to Alaska Airlines and to everyone who joined us and made this event a huge success! We hope you had a fun time, and we would love to see you at our next event. Additional thanks goes out to Pacific Northwest Catering for providing an array of sliders, chicken satay skewers, and other delectable edibles. (And if anyone is interested in hosting a future Seattle Appy Hour, we’ll happily send along their contact info!)
About Appy Hour:
First launched in February 2013, Appy Hour is a monthly meetup of mobile developers, entrepreneurs, and marketers organized by Apptentive and our sponsoring partners. To date, we’ve hosted Appy Hours at the offices of startups and customers across the greater Seattle area – including TechStars, Glympse, SURF, TUNE, Urbanspoon, and Porch.com. Following the success of our Seattle series, we’ve launched a monthly Appy Hour meetup in both San Diego and Los Angeles – and are currently looking to expand into other mobile hubs across the United States.

Interested in Sponsoring an Appy Hour?
We’re always looking for partners to host and sponsor future Appy Hours. Sponsoring an Appy Hour is a great way to:
- Get involved in (and give back to) your local mobile app community
- Put your name and office in front of talented developers and job seekers
- Learn about new trends and developments in the mobile world
- Show off what your company has been working on in the mobile space
If you’re interested and have an office in (greater) Seattle, Los Angeles, or San Diego, contact our events coordinator, Rachel Harrington, to learn more.
