Welcome to the Team! Meet the Three New Members of Apptentive

Our customers recently hit major milestones, using Apptentive to have over 120 million customer conversations on more than a half a billion mobile devices around the world. To support that growth, the size of our team tripled in 2015—and there’s no sign of stopping in 2016. While our customers have been busy talking to a record number of consumers, we’ve been recruiting fresh talent to help us build on our momentum.

We live by the philosophy “People, Not Users” and seek to extend that philosophy to our community by introducing our newest team members to you. We’re excited to welcome these three talented people who will be great assets in our mission to give every customer a voice.

Sales

Marisa Nolan, Vice President of Sales

Marisa brings over 13 years of international sales experience in complex software solutions in the environmental health and safety, and energy trading risk management industries. Prior to joining Apptentive, she spent 10 years working in Europe as Business Development Manager at Allegro Development, then as Sales Director at Navita Systems building and managing teams in the EMEA. Most recently, she was Director of Global Sales and Marketing for CMO Software, where she grew the sales team five fold, significantly increased revenue, created processes and implemented strategies to accelerate revenue growth, and remodeled their pricing strategy. When she is not working on sales strategies she is most likely spending time in her greenhouse, traveling or drinking beer.

Meghan Warbis, Sales Development Representative

Meghan, a Washington native, decided to head over to the frozen tundra to pursue her undergrad career at the University of North Dakota. After graduating, she moved back to the evergreen state with a new love for hockey and a renewed appreciation of mountains. Meghan has been searching for the perfect startup since graduation and is happy to have found a home here at Apptentive. During her free time she can be found trying to start a rollerblading movement in the greater Seattle area (though she isn’t very good).

Engineering

Vageesh Kumar, Director of Product Management

Vageesh’s 11 year career has spanned across management consulting, marketing, and product management. As a consultant at Booz & Co, he advised C-level clients at Fortune 500 companies on growth, operations, and M&A, and was also part of a five-member team that led expansion in India. As Head of Market Research at Bayer, he experienced first-hand the challenges of engaging customers. He’s delivered mobile and big data products at VMware, Amazon Web Services, and a VC funded startup in Seattle where he was a Co-Founder. In his free time, Vageesh enjoys working out, reading, and meditating. He has engineering degrees from IIT Bombay and Northwestern, and an MBA from University of Chicago.
