Meet The Newest Faces On Our Customer Success Team
Pedal’s to the metal at team Apptentive! In addition to the three new engineers we introduced last week, we’re welcoming six new members to our customer success team to improve the way we communicate with and support our amazing customers.
From Missoula to Princeton, from Trulia to Sasquatch!, these six very talented folks bring an array of different experiences and backgrounds to the table but are all united by a single vision: Customer Love.
Meet the newest members of the Apptentive family below:
Dylan Munn, Customer Development
Dylan started his career serving smiles and soft-serve ice cream at his hometown’s Dairy Queen in Helena, Montana. Since moving to Seattle in 2006 to attend Seattle University, he has worked in finance, banking, retail, staffing, and consulting. He moved to Apptentive to help our clients engage with their customers and develop a mobile product that their customers truly love. His dream vacation is a mule-riding-backpack trip in Mongolia.
Josh “Jay” Bell, Customer Development
Best known for his ability to banter in various accents when you expect them least, Jay joins us as a soon-to-be-graduate of Seattle University. His experience has taken him from working production at Sasquatch! (Washington’s largest indie rock music festival) to introducing a new graduate program to the Albers School of Business & Economics. Jay joined Apptentive after seeing its mission embodied in the individuals he now works with, and can often be found prying hidden talents out of everyone he meets.
Pat Cotter, Customer Success
A native of “exotic” Buffalo (apparently they’re rebranding) and graduate of Princeton, Pat moved to Seattle after spending the better part of the past decade in San Francisco working for a variety of startups including General Assembly, Badvine and Spock.com. He’s motivated by the idea of helping companies better communicate and build things people want and couldn’t be happier to see his dream take flight at Apptentive. When not shamelessly promoting his hockey team, he can be found training Rosie (his pet Swissweiler), discussing Skynet, or watching Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Rachel Harrington, Events & Marketing
Lured in by Apptentive’s culture of collaboration and innovation, Rachel is a recent transplant to the Seattle area. She is a graduate of Montana State, where she earned degrees in marketing and graphic design and developed a passion for all things digital. Rachel can often be found running and fly-fishing… even though she has yet to catch a fish. (Going to our next Appy Hour? There is a high probability that Rachel made it happen!)
Scott Young, Customer Development
Scott joined Apptentive after frequenting many an Apptentive Appy Hour. Originally from Portland, Scott recently moved to Seattle and fell in love with everything the Emerald City has to offer – particularly its amazing summers (Seattle’s best kept secret). He’s a recent graduate of the University of Montana in Missoula and found a knack for sales and relationship-building right out of college. His better half is his golden retriever named Buddy, the most stoked-on-life dog you’ll ever meet (and the real reason we hired Scott).
Joseph Yoder, Enterprise Sales
Affectionately known as “Yoder,” Joseph is a Midwest native and self-proclaimed foodie. He grew up in Indiana and graduated from Purdue University, where he developed his love of technology, processes, and sales. He spent the next fourteen years in Denver, employed in various sales and business development roles for leading tech companies, including Trulia, ExamMatrix, and Avnet. He can frequently be found rummaging the wilderness atop a mountain, in a tent, or on a snowboard.
You?
The growth doesn’t stop here!
Would you describe your work ethic as hard, smart, honest, collaborative, and humble?
