Mobile provides access to shop anytime of day or night, wherever shoppers may be. As a result, foot traffic is on the decline and mobile sales are up. To cater to consumers’ changing habits, retailers have to boost their investment in digital strategies. But many brands, particularly brick-and-mortar retailers, aren’t sure how to improve their mobile customer experience to meet rising consumer expectations of how brands operate digitally.
To help retailers understand exactly what it takes to reach the top charts, we analyzed five successful shopping apps: Kohl’s, eBay, RetailMeNot, Walgreens, and the Amazon App. We identified three common goals all of the apps share and pinpointed the tactics used to achieve these goals within the apps.
