Apptentive Named One of Washington’s Best Workplaces

We’re thrilled to announce our proud debut on the Puget Sound Business Journal’s list of Washington’s Best Workplaces!

Apptentive was named in the Companies with 10-49 employees in Washington State category. Companies are chosen based on the results of a survey taken by employees; those with the highest employee scores are selected as the best workplaces. The award ceremony took place at Safeco Field on August 13th.

Our team is built on a foundation of core values that are focused on working: hard, smart, honest, together, and humble. Being included on PSBJ’s Best Workplaces list reinforces the dedication our team gives to building customer loyalty and spreading customer love. Our passion for creating customer love unites us, and drives us forward as a team guided by our core values.

Hard

Hard work is high leverage. Put your best effort in. Push to deliver your results and then some. Look for the right answers, not the easy ones. Invest your energy, your time and your commitment to all that you tackle.

Smart

The most valuable thing we have is time- use yours well, and understand that it is a scarce resource by respecting others’. Look for the “why”. Think about your work not just today, but repeated over and over again. How is each iteration better?

Honest

Be authentic and acknowledge your mistakes and be open when you don’t understand a concept or event happening. Understand that being honest starts with yourself – admit when you aren’t holding yourself to your best self.

Together

Constantly collaborate. Lend a hand. Look for ways to understand the context outside of your specific view. Make it easy to be your colleague.

Humble

Our work depends on one another. It depends on our customers. It depends on us asking questions and learning, constantly. Practice sharing credit and giving praise.

Being named on two best places to work lists (we were named one of Washington’s ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ 2015 by Seattle Business Magazine in July), is a huge honor, and one we won’t soon forget. We’ll continue to strive to make these lists throughout the coming years, and hopefully grow into new categories as our team grows with our company. We don’t lack motivation at Apptentive, but making the list definitely adds fuel to the fire!
